1978 Ranch Kitchen

This Kitchen was part of a house transformation from a 1978 Ranch to an Arts and Crafts/Bungalow style with a touch of modernism.  There was a wall separating the Kitchen from a Sun Room.  Most of it was taken out with a concealed header installed.  The result is an updated and enlarged Kitchen, Keeping Room, an enlarged Dining Room, a 6’ x 8’ bar counter, and a Mud Room.  The total square footage of 770 is a great space for an active family to congregate or entertain.  This Kitchen was showcased in Atlanta Home Improvement Magazine, December 2006 – “Amazing Makeovers”.  It also won the NARI (National Association of Remodelers) Contractor of the Year in 2006 for Kitchen Remodels from 60K – 100K.
